NEW WEDNESDAY EVENIG CLASSES BEGIN
Wednesday, September 1 marks the beginning of our Fall Classes. Lydia's Ladies will be studying 1 Peter in a study entitled Walk the Talk. The Men's Class will be studying the life of Peter in a study called From Pebble to Rock. World Bible School will also be meeting as well as our Music Ministry. There will be classes for children of all ages. Everything begins at 7:00 pm. Hope to see you there![more]

Minister’s Cook-Off
We had a great crowd here Wednesday evening for our annual end-of-summer Minister's Cook-Off. I know it is a small thing, but we ministers want to express our appreciation to this church for all that you mean to us. What a blessing it is to minister at the Park Avenue Church of Christ, and Chef #1, Chef #2, and Chef #3 want all of you to know how fortunate we are to work with all of you. We hope a burger, sausage, or hot dog in a small way communicated that gratitude to you!

Word Up Resumes
Tomorrow evening, we will resume our Monday night Bible Study for High Schoolers at 7pm at the Encalade’s. If you have not been a part of Word Up in the past, I want to encourage you to try to keep your Monday evenings free this fall. Word Up is a great place to invite friends. It is less formal than worship service or class and perhaps more comfortable. I hope you will join us this fall for Word Up on Monday nights.
