Small Groups
We’ll continue as usual tonight with our High Schoolers meeting at the Encalade home and our Middle Schoolers meeting at the building with the Taylors and Martins. Both of our groups went very well, hope you can make plans to join us this week! Please bring $3 for food.
Fall Festival
Next Saturday from 1-3 pm is our Fall Festival. I want to encourage our teens to be here to support the younger students and to help put on a fantastic event. We’ll need your help with games and other fun activities. If you want to help, contact Tina Warner.
Area Wide Worship Next Sunday Night
Next Sunday Night we will not have small groups. Instead we will head down to the High Pointe Church of Christ in McKinney for an area wide worship service. We will leave the building at 4:15 and return around 8:30. Please sign up in the Youth Suite if you plan to attend (I’ll need to give their Youth Minister a head count next Wednesday Night). The cost is $4 and you might also want bring a few dollars for Ice Cream on the way home. I am looking for sponsors if anyone would like to join us, please let me know. I hope you will make plans to join us for this terrific night of praise, food, fun and fellowship.
Middle School Retreat
November 21-22 will be our Middle School Retreat. All 6th - 8th graders are invited to this incredible weekend. We’ll be joined by other area churches and our theme is: The “Good” Retreat. I can’t wait to tell you what that’s all about. Parents, this is one of those “core events” that I mentioned at our Parents’ Meeting. If there’s any way your child can be a part of this weekend, I encourage you to help make that happen. I know a lot of things compete for our time, but this event, I believe, is worth altering plans to be a part of. The cost is $25, and you need to pay at the time of sign up. I hope each of our Middle Schoolers can be a part of this weekend!
