Marriage Seminar
It is not too late to sign up at the Welcome Centers for our Marriage Enrichment Seminar entitled Prelude To Joy: Making Your Marriage A Heavenly One, with Tom and Sandra Milholland, Marriage and Family therapists from Abilene Christian University. The seminar is this Saturday, November 7th from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. The cost is $15.00 per person which includes lunch. Child care will be provided but needs to be reserved in advance.
SAMPACC
The November meeting of SAMPACC (Senior Adult Ministry Park Avenue Church of Christ) will be at 6 PM on Thursday, November 12. We will have a special presentation on how to properly administer CPR. We feel this is something everyone needs to know how to do so please come and enjoy the fellowship, food, and presentation by Mike Reynolds. Anyone interested in this presentation is invited to attend. Please bring finger foods.
Bounties For Thanksgiving
Our annual “Bounties For Thanksgiving” food drive is now officially underway. If you would check the food tabs posted on the main hallway wall and remove the tabs of the food items you can bring we would greatly appreciate it. Shelves are set up to receive your donations. The ending date for the drive will be November 29th. Thanks for your cooperation in this ministry.
Middle School Retreat
November 21-22 will be our Middle School Retreat. All 6th-8th graders are invited and the theme is “The Good Retreat”. The cost is $25, and you need to pay at the time of sign up.
Middle School Girls
6th-8th grade girls, be watching your mailbox for a letter regarding an exciting new study just for you led by some of our high school girls. More details in upcoming bulletins.
Teacher’s Banquet
All teachers at Park Avenue are invited to the Annual Teacher’s Banquet on Sunday, November 15, after morning services at the Tanglewood Resort on Lake Texoma. For those teachers who have children, child care and lunch will be provided at the church building. Please RSVP at the church office or suelain@parkavenue church.com, if you will be attending the luncheon and if you need child care.
