It is not too late to sign up at the Welcome Centers for our Marriage Enrichment Seminar entitled Prelude To Joy: Making Your Marriage A Heavenly One, with Tom and Sandra Milholland, Marriage and Family therapists from Abilene Christian University. The seminar is this Saturday, November 7th from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. The cost is $15.00 per person which includes lunch. Child care will be provided but needs to be reserved in advance. [more]

ALLOW ME TO BRAG
Last Sunday was one of the more memorable activities I have been a part of in recent years. Our teens were asked to bring their own money to purchase gifts for underprivileged children in Mexico. They responded with tremendous generosity bringing almost $550 which, divided by 26 teens, came out to over $21 a person!

OUR ANNUAL THANKSGIVING CHILI/SOUP SUPPER
Our annual Thanksgiving Chili/Soup Supper is on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 6 p.m. We’ll have plenty of food with two kinds of soup, chili, along with cornbread. The only cost to you is to bring a DESSERT. You bring the dessert and no one pays! What a deal! We will have a time of prayer and thanksgiving to God for the bounty he has supplied.
